Summer Camp
Is your child ‘Horse Crazy?’ Galemont Farm Camps provide a perfect summer activity! We offer a great opportunity for children to spend a day with horses. Campers learn hunt-seat (English) riding, as well as proper care of horses and riding equipment. Our experienced staff provides quality instruction with an emphasis on safety and sportsmanship.
Three sessions are being offered this summer for campers 5-15 years of age (or have completed kindergarten). The sessions are designed to accomodate different riding skill levels, from beginner to intermediate.
Each session will begin with an orientation day to familiarize campers with the facility and important safety do's and don'ts. Campers will learn how to care for and work safely around horses, as well as how to properly use riding equipment.
Week I – June 29-July 2, 2021
Week II – July 13-16, 2021
Week III – August 10-13, 2021
Week IV – August 24-27, 2021
Camp is Tuesday-Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm. Extended hours are available for an additional charge.

2021 Summer Camp Registration Form
Camp activities will include:
- daily riding instruction;
- learn how to handle horses;
- demonstration of riding equipment – how the equipment is used and its purpose;
- learning about colors, markings and the anatomy of horses;
- games on horseback;
- arts and crafts;
- demonstrations;
- learn about horse grooming and bathing;
- instructional videos.
**At the conclusion of each session, parents and families are invited for a camper riding demonstration and party.
Galemont Farm Unicorn Program
Galemont Farm Unicorn Program introduces children Ages 4-8 to the wonderful world of ponies. Our program consists of 2 sessions for you to choose from. Each session will include equine related activities, safety at the stable, horsemanship and an introduction to riding.
Session I – June 7, June 21 and June 28, 2021, 3:00-5:00 pm
Session II – July 12, July 19 and July 26, 2021, 3:00-5:00 pm

Week 1 – Unicorn Land
- Tour the farm, meet the ponies
- Learn to groom & brush your pony
Week 2 – Pretty Ponies
- Pamper the ponies with a bath
- Tack-up & clean up – Tack Trivia
Week 3 – Treats for All
- Create a special treat for your pony
- Make your own pony
Students will ride each week focusing on riding basics and confidence building skills.
